How It Works

How Larprank Works

Larprank is a public internet leaderboard built around temporary status, clear rules, and entertainment-first ranking.

The Basic Flow

  1. 1. Submit an entryAdd a display name, message, link, optional PNG image, and bid amount from the leaderboard.
  2. 2. Complete Stripe checkoutPayment details are handled through Stripe. Approved entries can be charged and placed on the board.
  3. 3. Wait for reviewSubmissions are reviewed before they appear publicly. Not every entry is accepted.
  4. 4. Watch the rankingApproved entries appear for a temporary window. Higher bids rank higher, and the countdown shows how long each placement remains active.

Bids, Review, And Placement

Larprank uses checkout authorization before review. That keeps payment details handled by Stripe while giving the site a chance to reject entries that break the rules before they appear publicly.

Once approved, an entry can appear on the live leaderboard with its rank, display name, bid amount, message, URL plug, optional PNG image, and countdown. Higher approved bids rank above lower approved bids.

Treat It As Satire

Larprank is a satirical leaderboard about internet culture, not a serious reputation system. Names, messages, and links should be public-facing, lawful, and safe for the community.

Before submitting, read the rules and check the charity ledger for the public donation record.
